I last posted that I was going to put up a turkey card but that didn't quite work out as planned....smile.
Around here, we love photo cards. I use photos for all sorts of projects - birthday cards, tags, invitations. Holiday cards are especially fun. I love figuring out what we are going to do for our holiday card each year. Of course, it's almost an after Christmas type of event but it does seem like I have sent them off in early December the past couple of years. It's easier to do now that we have kids. It's fun trying to get that perfect picture and then creating the card.
I'm so new to this blogging thing. Excuse the photo, I know it's not that great! I think the idea is fun. The card is folded in thirds and then I stamped the wreath in the center of the fold. When you open the card, the photo is in the inside of the card. I did stamp the wreath slightly to the right so that I could attach the velvet ribbon off to one side. We have the joy stamp in one of our new holiday sets. I just inked the letters separately. Of course, any alphabet stamp set would work a little easier but it's what I had at the time to finish the card.
